We are very excited about smooth songstress, Kyra Simone, who recently graced the stage at our blessence party
Her world oozes soothing, sensual and sophisticated Nu-soul Vibrations. Touching the essence of life, love and spirituality; embracing warm welcoming sounds.
Kyra Simone was born in the UK having a Caribbean background of St Lucian and Grenadian parentage.
Coming from a musical family where her father played keys and sang and her mother sang lead in a reggae steel band; her musical tastes growing up came from Soca, calypso, reggae and pop music. Her greatest influences at the time being her mother and her idols were Prince and Madonna.
Kyra made her first recording at the tender age of six. ‘Wow when I listen to that I can’t believe I was singing that high, it’s crazy, I was so young I barely remember it but I have the tape to prove it,’ Kyra recalls.
After a few years singing with bands, recording, performing live with her mother and joining a girl group, Kyra made a decision to take up singing full-time.
Mother of one, Kyra studied Performing Arts and Music at Lewisham College. Whilst there she worked with Peer Publishing, BBC Worldwide and Mercury records, and was recognized by the college for her talent and was featured in the college magazine.

Kyra continues to work with various artists, and producers, such as Supafly, Maria Lawson, Jason Jermaine, Andrae Bentley and other distinguished UK artists.
Kyra also continues to get support from UK soul, BBC Three DJ-Lee Drummond, UKMusic.com, Madison Media, Rewind Magazine and others.
Kyra was managed for a while by TBRL publishing who offered her a record deal, after which she decided to embark on a new venture along with certain key characters. This is when ‘The Scent’ was born. In it, Kyra takes you through a fragranced journey of life experiences that can bring you joy, bring you pain and capture moments that should never be taken for granted.
Kyra says: 'The alluring sweet scent that the spiritual can pick up on is something that all people should be aware of. It can keep you from trouble and lead you to good times... Listen carefully to the words for insight...Enjoy!'
Kyra is currently working on her Book and album ‘One’, which incorporates her intellectual, sexy, inspirational and authentic personality, in the form of poetry, storytelling and song.
