Bede House Association has launched SAFE, a new contact system for victims of lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT) domestic abuse or hate crime in the London Borough of Southwark.
 
SAFE uses text messages and an online chat system to provide help and support directly from an LGBT support worker (Mon-Fri, 9:30-4:30). Message can be left outside of these times.
 
By texting SAFE on 07958 039151, individuals will receive text advice and support including further contact details if required.

FUSION AT LONDON FRIEND

FUSION @ LONDON FRIEND meets on the Last Thursday of each month from 7:00pm - 8:30pm
•    A social group for BME Lesbian and Bisexual women.
•    Discussion and support-oriented group.
•    Meet like-minded people and make new friends.

The aim of Fusion @ London Friend, is to provide a confidential and supportive peer space for Black, Asian, and ethnic minority lesbian and bisexual women. It has been running since 2008.
The group meets at the London Friend office; 86 Caledonian Road, London N1 9D, which is a five minute walk from Kings Cross station. Click on the link below for a map and directions.
Each month the group discusses a different topic.  The current monthly schedule can be found on the London Friend website.  Below is a list of past group discussions:
